February Calendar Picture

Hi everyone!

It's February already, and as promised, here I am with this month's picture in the SF 2019 Calendar:

Here we have Stella Chocolate (Freya's older sister) and her boyfriend William Cinnamon having a romantic dinner in an elegant and dimly lit restaurant. Aren't they cute? I love that in the set were they come together the figures are especially-made to be able to hold hands. This picture must have been made with Valentine's Day in mind. Looks like they're already having dessert, there's a lovely and tasty-looking chocolate cake and beautiful porcelain crockery on their table. So adorable!

Looks like they're enjoying the wonderful music played by Mr Lionel Grande, the famous pianist. I find Lionel quite adorable and I'm thinking of adding him to my collection some day. I hope they give him a family at some point.

No Freya or Crème this month, hehe!

These past few weeks I've been feeling quite enthusiastic about my Sylvanian hobby and have been uploading pictures to Instagram and thinking about future stories and projects. :) I have also been updating my blog: you'll find more info on the Spinelli Hedgehog Family and the Andes Alpaca family if you visit the "Families" tab on top.

Next week I plan on posting a house tour of the Robinson Red Pandas' home, the Tomy Country Cottage with Balcony.
I hope to write a new story soon as well. It will also feature them. :)

Hope 2019 is treating all of you well so far and that you have a wonderful February!

  1. Hi Ayrell,
I love this month´s picture. I can feel the relaxing and romantic atmosphere of the restaurant. The dim light, the soft and calm sound of the piano music in the background, that delicious looking cake... The perfect setting to enjoy a romantic evening on Valentine´s Day. Stella even got a gift. I wonder what´s inside the nicely wrapped package.

You should add Lionel to your collection. I got him at Christmas! It was a great surprise! It made me really happy as I had wanted him for a long time.

It´s good to hear you´re feeling enthusiatic about Sylvanians. That´s great news. I love your posts and I´m looking forward to visiting the The Robinsons´ home.
I´ll read your new familie´s bios too. The Spinelli and The Andes Alpaca are great additions to your collection. I love the Alpacas as they fit well into the village life. Actually, they look like they belong to the woodland more than to the town life.

    Have a nice weekend!

    1. Hi Cutata!
I like this month's picture too! :) It's very calming.
Oh, I hadn't noticed the gift! You're right!

Congratulations on adding Lionel to your collection! I remember when we last spoke via PM on the forum you told me you wanted to buy him, hehe. I'm sure there'll be a grand concert at Sweet Berry Valley soon. Or maybe he wants to move there to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city...?

It makes me happy to read that you enjoy my posts, especially as I enjoy yours so much! :D

The Alpacas are adorable and I agree that they look more suited to the village life than to the town life. I love their clothes.

Have a nice weekend as well! :)

  2. Hello Ayrell! That cake looks delicious in the calendar picture! And I love the little china teacups and plates!
Your new family bio's are lovely. The Alpaca family is very sweet. I may have to add them to my collection at some point...
And I love the Brambles too. Anthony seems like a very fun, happy father, husband, and brother to live with! I totally agree with him about eating pizza all day everyday!
Really looking forward to your new posts, you do such a great job!
Hope you have a great February too! I start back at high school again next week after a lovely summer holiday. :( Never mind, I've always got my sylvanians to come home to. Have a great weekend!

  4. I love this romantic diner ! I'm jealous, I want one.... in true... but a Sylvanian one would do haha.
AAAAhhhh yeepee, someone else who is thinking about the good idea it would be to give Lionel a family (for some weird reasons french collectors do not sound interested... I was feeling alone !). The alpacas are so cute, I hope I'll manage to get the family too, but with my situation I believe there are few things I'll be able to add to my collection now... nevermind, I'll surely have a lot of fun reading your great stories ! Thank you so much for sharing all those things with us !

    1. Hi Arcadia! Thanks for your kind comment! :)

Yes, poor Lionel should have a family, right? I know Cutata thinks so too, as she mentioned it on her blog before me, so we're not alone, haha!
The Alpacas sure are adorable, I hope you'll be able to get them soon, I have the mother's figure on my work desk keeping me company and she has such a sweet expression! :)

So happy that you enjoy my posts, thank you so much! :)
